Over the course of YES20, there will be:

  • An online briefing session to inform you about what you have to do before and during the workshop
  • A problem solving session to discover, determine and define solutions to this year’s YES societal challenges
  • A range of online industry expert mentoring sessions to help you prepare for the workshop
  • Residential workshops – each team chooses one to attend (see timetable below for details)
  • 100+ experts from academia and industry
  • Guidance on how to build a transferable skills framework
  • An opportunity to win £15k at the event final hosted at the
    Royal Society, London

If we are unable to deliver the residential workshops in the autumn, the Biomedical workshop will be hosted 24-26 February; the Energy, engineering and environment workshop 03-05 March; and the Plant, microbial and environment workshop 10-12 March. An alternative date for the Final is not yet confirmed.
